Industrial Park Lausitz Industriepark Lausitz and Rettungsdienst Niederlausitz deepen cooperation

• Cooperation agreement strengthens collaboration at the interfaces between the emergency medical service and the industrial fire brigade.
• Professional exchange, job shadowing opportunities and selected training programmes enable both organisations to learn from one another.

BASF InfraService & Solutions Lausitz GmbH, the site operating company ofIndustrial ParkStandortbetreibergesellschaft des Industrieparks Lausitz, and Rettungsdienst Niederlausitz gGmbH (RDNL) are further expanding their cooperation in the field of training and professional development. To this end, both partners have signed a cooperation agreement. The focus is on joint activities at the interfaces between the emergency medical service and the industrial fire brigade. These include practical exercises, professional exchange, selected training programmes and job shadowing opportunities.

Responsibility for the training and professional development of emergency personnel remains with each organisation individually. The cooperation agreement creates additional opportunities to combine existing expertise and diverse experience while jointly designing selected training and exercise activities.
 
Planned activities include practical exercises at Industriepark Lausitz and at ambulance stations, joint training courses and workshops, as well as job shadowing placements and internships. Different operational conditions and local requirements will also be taken into account. All activities will be jointly planned and reviewed by both partners.
