Project description

The 5G campus network is a network that is independent of public mobile communications. This local network brings extra-fast mobile communications specifically to company and production sites. It makes it possible to align and design the 5G network to the company's own requirements.
With delay times in the millisecond range, the network reacts almost in real time and faster than any other mobile network generation before. In addition, 5G can network thousands of end devices per square kilometer - significantly more than previous technologies.
5G is a key technology for new automation applications, the use of robots and drones and the ongoing digitalisation of production facilities.
